Leaving

So, as it happens, October 2, 2006 is our last day teaching. Quick year. Slipped past when I wasn't paying attention. Andrea and I have been planning our trip after suffering a minor, though significant, interruption, and have continued to do so--but at lightning speed. We are smack in the middle of a hectic week gathering and posting and abandoning all the things we've acquired over the course of a year, somehow weaning it down to a backpack each. It's been quite a job, but we're managing, slowly. Of course we will be/already are sad to leave, but are also tremendously excited to get traveling. More to come on that, I'm sure, but for now, stationary until October 4.
